Medal

Golf is a funny old game! Senior member, Brian Thompson, playing in the June Medal… Front nine on the 6th, in the bunker, 14 shots later he holes out!!. Back nine, on the 6th…Hole in One!!, well done Brian.As to the Medal, Played in bright sunshine, but with a bitterly cold North East wind, it was won by Geoff Rowlands (17) with a very tidy net 58, Rob Calcott (17) was two back on a net 60. Over half the Field came in, in the net 60'sLongest Drive, on the 8th, was Captain Chris Mottershead. Nearest the Pin on the 2nd:Geoff Fordham, the 6th, Brian Thompson of course and on the 9th, Ralph Richardson.Scroll down for the pics and results..Click the Pics to download
